Language Cracker (LC) is available for download in a time-limited evaluation version. When the limits of the trial version are reached, you can continue using the app after the purchase and activation of the license.

Installation on MacOS

After downloading it, please do as follows:

• Double-click the installation file.
• Drag the application icon into the Applications folder.
• Launch Language Cracker via the Launchpad/Apps.*
• See the Getting Started tutorial to start quickly using the app.

* During the first launch, the program will request for Accessibility Access to control text selection from external apps. Please restart LC after granting access in System Settings.

Installation on Windows

Since LC is a new application, Microsoft Defender SmartScreen can display a message about making sure to trust the app, please click “More actions…” and then “Keep” to install Language Cracker.

After downloading it, please do as follows:

• Double-click the installation file to install the application.
• After the installation, launch the Language Cracker from your desktop.
• See the Getting Started tutorial to start quickly using the app.

Installation on Linux*

After downloading it, please do as follows:

• Unpack the installation package file into the chosen location in your user directory.
• Double-click the Cracker file to launch the program.
• On some Linux flavours (e.g. Ubuntu), you can also right-click the Cracker file and choose “Run as a Program”.
• See the Getting Started tutorial to start quickly using the app.

* On Linux with Wayland window system, the text input by mouse selection is not supported yet. Please change this option to the input by copy in Options, or switch your Linux to X11 window system.
